Aan de bergachtige kust van Gargano, het Italiaanse schiereiland dat ook bekendstaat als ‘het spoor van de laars’, ligt Centro Turistico San Nicola. Op deze grote, complete camping kampeer je direct aan een privéstrand aan de Middellandse Zee. Kampeer met uitzicht over de baai en de Adriatische Zee en neem gezellig een drankje in de beachbar. Ook worden er bijzondere excursies georganiseerd naar de grotten van Gargano en de Tremitische Eilanden.

Deze camping wordt ieder jaar bezocht door de ACSI-inspecteur om de faciliteiten, netheid en servicenormen grondig te controleren. Zo blijft de kwaliteit en veiligheid voor alle gasten gewaarborgd en weet jij zeker dat je hier goed zit.

De grote, prachtige camping is een dorpje op zich en gelegen in een vallei en aan een prachtige baai. Je hoeft niet van de camping af, want vele winkeltjes. Online zijn alle plaatsen te zien en te reserveren!

Een zeer moeilijk bereikbare camping door de steile en bochtige weg voor campers en caravanners. Maar wel een prachtige camping gelegen aan een baai met rotsen en mooi zandstrand! Wij hadden een plaats direct aan het strand! Er was geen stroom en water direct op de plaats, maar voor ons wel bereikbaar.. Het uitzicht was paradijselijk, maar werd belemmerd door de vele achtergelaten parasols en strandbedjes, waarvan er enkele af en toe werden gebruikt. Jammer van het mooie strand. Elke avond kinderanimatie van 22:00 tot 24:00uur met luide muziek. Zeer vriendelijk personeel in het restaurant. Veel overlast van mieren, een dagelijkse strijd! Sanitair had wel wat aandacht nodig, maar was schoon en goed. De prijs mag wel wat lager. Slechte internetverbinding, alleen WiFi bij receptie en restaurant. Het nabij gelegen plaatsje Peschici is prachtig. Door de "voor ons" lastige toegankelijkheid en de mierenoverlast is het niet voor herhaling vatbaar en komen wij niet terug op deze prachtig gelegen camping.

de locatie aan zee is natuurlijk heel mooi. Het is heel schoon maar de prijs is echt wel heel hoog voor een camping waar het stikt van de mieren, de campingwinkel oud brood verkoopt en er voor de afwas geen warm water is. massa is kassa, zo voelt het. We waren ook de enigen met een tent.
