Midden in de natuurrijke omgeving van de Ardèche ligt Camping L’Ombrage. De camping is gelegen op een heuvelachtig terrein en dient als een perfect vertrekpunt voor een ontdekkingstocht door de omgeving. Je verblijft hier in de buurt van het plaatsje Ruoms en vanaf de camping zie je in de verte de rots van Sampzon liggen. Hoewel het een toeristische regio is – met name in het hoogseizoen trekt de Ardèche veel toeristen – is het op de camping zelf lekker rustig. In 2021 is het zwembad geheel vernieuwd met onder andere een groot zonneterras met comfortabele ligstoelen en een kleuterbad. Beide baden zijn verwarmd.

Mooi gelegen camping op een natuurrijk, heuvelachtig terrein. De schaduwrijke plaatsen zijn minimaal 150m² en afgebakend met lage bomen. Neem een electriciteitskabel van 25m mee! De Gorges de L'Ardèche, Pont d'Arc en Grotte Chauvet zijn op ongeveer 15 km afstand. Fietsroute Voie Verte: start vanuit Ruoms.

Hele fijne camping! Kleinschalig, rustig, mooi zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. We verbleven (stel, 30 jr) in een safaritent. Dit is ten zeerste aan te raden. Wij hebben heerlijke weken gehad op de camping. Ook de omgeving is prachtig. We bezochten Balazuc, Labeaume, Vogüé en Jojeux, wijngaarden en een spa. Enorm genoten! Er is veel te beleven in de omgeving.
De camping ernaast (Aluna Village) geeft veel geluidsoverlast tussen 21.00-23.00. Daar kan camping l’Ombrage echter niks aan doen.

Mooi, verzorgd, schoon sanitair, erg vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel.
Eigenlijk alles top, behalve dat er overdag en 's avonds veel muzikale herrie is van camping onderaan de heuvel
